So your telling me that this comment from Declaration of War:

"Hey thanks for turning down that gig in Talley with Wormrot and Phobia cuz we're playing dat shit now! HELL YEAH!! You dumbfucks."

and your post have no relation?

I still don't know when it was that we turned down that gig. Is it because were not playing FTTA? If so that's lame considering we already played two shows supporting the fest and were still planning to attend all three days.

Wow Tally was amazing. First the promoter sold the venue without bothering to tell the new owners about the show. Or without dropping a line and giving us a head's up. And goes total AWOL so Monday night Phobia and Wormrot go to sleep after devastating NOLA with no show the next day. At 3am Tuesday we got a venue FARSIDE a nice DIY place. At 9am local band Brainstorm agrees to play. At 8pm Phobia and Wormrot arrive not knowing what to expect from a show that has less than 20 hours to promote. Inside Farside was the entire freaking Panhandle to greet them. The energy was totally amazing. And yeah Phobia is definitely holding their own if anything the level of their intensity has gone up over the past couple of shows.

Thanks to Saad, Farside and Tally for making this happen. Also thank you Al Gore for inventing the internet without none of this would have been possible.

There is a gravel lot in front, but it fills up pretty fast. Don't park at any of the businesses across the street or you will get towed. There are other lots, but they are kind of sketchy, i.e., unlit and unwatched/

Beeravore will be playing before us Saturday. Pretty sweet death metal. Heard The Cooters may have canceled so prepare for non stop punishment. Show up early and come say hey, get hammered, and then pummeled by the grinding death metal onslaught.
SPEWTILATOR - Badass motherfuckin' street cops with nothing to lose who don't play by the rules and are out for blood.

I got screwed over for working opening night at Netherworld last night (got scheduled at my other job...long, boring story) but I was able to work there tonight. This is my 5th year in a row at Netherworld and I chose that over the fest because I LOVE it! If I hadn't got screwed over last night, I probably would have came out tonight because tonight is when I wanted to go. Well, I hope the turnout was decent and that the bands were good! 8)
They had you do a drug test and the forgot to test for drugs???
