It had been a couple weeks since I'd been to Thunderbox. When I walked in last night I saw an amazing poster for this:

I don't know who is putting it on, but I'm pretty sure that I know where it is located. Down Moreland by the honky tonk Southern Comfort is a GIGANTIC truckstop complex that has been abandoned for a long time. In broad daylight the place is terrifying. I can only imagine what it will be like under these conditions.

I'm hitting the shooting range this weekend so that I can make the most of my time at the zombie shoot.

i don't think the participants actually get to shoot paintballs. I think just the guide does.

you run around for like 25 mins trying survive while the guides get all the real fun (shooting zombies) and then you can pay extra to shoot 20 paintballs at zombies..... however, this still sounds like fun!
they do say people must be in somewhat shape to actually make it through the course. (All of this is from their site)

Please report back. I'm intrigued, and also pretty sure I would break my ankle. My workout consists of kicking air and riding really fast on a bike, not running from zombies.

You can go be a volunteer zombie whenever you want. I was talking to the guy who puts this on at zombie walk and he needs alot of zombies. They can only pay up to 40 I believe, but that would rule to get paid for being the undead.
