Possessed -- Beyond the Gates. I don't think this one has held up very well.
Possessed -- The Eyes of Horror. Fan since Day 1.

BtG is terrible. Terrible. Even the ridiculous fold out LP art is terrible. What happened to the 10,000 ft tall sound of 7C? What happened to all the riffs? What is this mediocre "thrash" shit? Crushed when this came out. Quite possibly the most disappointing follow-up ever.
And EoH is worse! Thinner, more embarassing lyrics, tin-earred production, shit drumming, shittier axework. Best thing about this EP is back cover photo w/ Jeff wearing a ZZ TOP ELIMINATOR tee and LaLonde rocking hitop Vanz.

Will do. Gimme a label or some album names or some shit to search for. I don't think just that name will take me very far.

There's more than one but I assume this is what they're reffering to

CLAWS
"Absorbed in the Nethervoid " CD
Debut full-length CD from this dark and deadly old-school Finnish Death Metal band! Fans of early 90's Death Metal will salivate over this 9 song platter of cryptic darkness with themes of decaying terror, cobwebbed mausoleums, shambling zombies, demonic ghosts, forgotten cemeteries, and morbid creatures that are not of this Earth! Death Metal was meant to be underground and this is what CLAWS is all about...what lies beneath is where Death Metal TRULY lives! Features a member from Hooded Menace!
SPEWTILATOR - Badass motherfuckin' street cops with nothing to lose who don't play by the rules and are out for blood.

Agreed. There is way too much reverb, ala
Hell Awaits, for my taste. What the fuck was with the '80's and ridiculous reverb?

Them's fightin' words.

It's fucking massive. In a goddamn humbling way. I haven't felt this small since I stood staring down on Wizards Island @ Crater Lake while gonzo ripped on hyper-hoppy brews...
