I'm lifting this discussion from another forum, but I had read about this service and considered what I would do prior to seeing it discussed.
You can read an article about the service here:

And check out the company's website here:

The point is, there is this company that will take a sampling of your ashes and press them into vinyl records that you can really play. Way cooler than decomposing or spending eternity in some stuffy urn.
So what would you put on your album?
I'm vain enough to require a 2xLP set. The running order has required some deep thought and is still subject to change. With five-six songs to a side, it would look something like this:
Journey - Don't Stop Believin'
John Cougar - Pink Houses
Darkthrone - Stylized Corpse
Venom - Live Like an Angel, Die Like a Devil
Dangerous Toys - Scared
Stones - Sympathy for the Devil
Patti Smith - Rock N Roll Nigger
Toxic Holocaust – An Overdose of Death
XTC - Dear God
Grateful Dead – Friend of the Devil
Joy Division - Isolation
George Michael - Freedom 90
Pretenders - Message of Love
GN'R - Think About You
X - Some Other Time
Paybacks - Vegas
The Best Kissers in the Wold - Hungover Together
Bosstones – Howhywuz Howhyam
Joan Jett and the Blackhearts - O Woe is Me
Black Flag - Rise Above
David Bowie - Panic in Detroit
Slade - Take Me Back 'Ome
Sid V - My Way
Skrewdriver - Hail the New Dawn (and no, I don't high five)
*unlisted final track - crowd recording - Forever Blowing Bubbles (the theme for the East End football club West Ham United)

I would simply like my ashes to be pressed into a blood red copy of Hell Awaits.

Funerals are expensive. Even a cheaper one can be as much as $5,000. It seems like a great idea to spend the majority of that money on a limited pressing of 5 compilation vinyls ( for people who would cherish them and take care of them), if you could get the company to do it. There could be a listening party at my funeral, along with a keg of Newcastle. I would probably do like Kaye already mentioned and get a dual LP. Probably 180 gram gate fold. Sides A & B being compilation of my favorite songs, and sides C & D being music I recorded. Since I'm a fan of music first, then a musician.

Side A - "Too Drunk to Fuck"
Side B - "Life Sentence"

probably something by Metallica, Slayer, Bolt Thrower, Rolling Stones, Iron Maiden, Ozzy, Emperor, the song Blessings Upon the Throne of Tyranny by Dimmu Borgir, the song Thorns of Desolation by Graveworm, and probably some more stuff I can't think of.
They had you do a drug test and the forgot to test for drugs???
