We had 10 kids come by, all in costume. They were all pretty lame, except for one kid in shredded clothes, covered in fake blood. I asked him what he was supposed to be and he said, no shit, "torn apart by wild animals." Win.

Gave out Fun Dip and M&Ms and 100 Grand Bars. Put my kid in his gorrila suit and then took him out of it 30 minutes later. Went to a kids' H'ween shindig up the street. Ate a cupcake and drank a buncha warm draft beer. Got lit on Jack & RC and watched MANIAC. Epic.

And yeah, I don't know why they bother boxing up the Xmas trees at all anymore. Wal-Greens has had that shit out for at least two weeks already.
We started putting out the Christmas books at the store today. The decorations haven't arrived yet, but we're already in holiday mode.

Christmas... what a fucking glutton of a holiday. I was at Lowes last thursday, they had a MASSIVE christmas section already built up and ready. Im talking four shelves worth it and two story tall christmas trees. and across from them is this small dinky shelf that is as small as a table lamp, and is stocking cheap-looking Halloween decorations.

Khol's had Christmas carols blaring throughout the store already. I might have to find a different route through the mall on my way to work.

I like Christmas but not all the capitalist crap that comes with it. Halloween isn't as bad when it comes to that. Get a costume, some candy, beer and you're set. For Christmas, you gotta buy a tree, a fuck ton of presents, lotsa food, and lotsa decorations. (ofcourse you don't have to get all that, but many do). I simply can't afford all that!

A few years back I was trying to tell my boyfriend's mom that I was really broke and only wanted to get those in my immediate family some presents, she got miffed by that. I'm sorry that I'm young and work minimum wage jobs, jeez! Yeah, that kinda pissed me off especially because in my family, if we're broke, we understand...we're broke all the time! Just because we can't afford presents one year doesn't mean we don't love each other. I have a little nephew so he'll get something...kids don't understand and if you don't give them something it equals "you hate me!" lol

ok sorry for the rant guys. Just had to put that out there 8)
They had you do a drug test and the forgot to test for drugs???
