Fuck, fuck, fuck. There are few worse ways to spend money than buying tires. Apparently, my car has expensive tastes, too, the bastard. Great time of year for this bullshit.

Mine does too. I know that because when I bought it dudes would come out and admire the tires. That's when I knew I was in trouble.

Yeah, I got that kinda of shit, too. I mean, I'm a car nerd for sure, but there is only so cool that tires can get. And if they don't have redlines on them they really just aren't all that intersting. I just can't imagine who really gets off on that stuff.

I was going to Florida in summer 2009 and I was so pissed when my parents made me pay for my own tires, along w/ an oil change, and some other bullshit.

I'm glad I did because I almost swerved off the road on the way so the new tires probably gripped better.

Rule of Nature: if there's ever a time when I have four (4) new tires on my car, that car WILL be wrecked, lost or otherwise vaped within a month or two. It's now happened to me twice. :shock:
