Falling Down is killer! I watched some movie with Christian Bale who was this business man who had a murderous serial killer streak fighting within him. Was almost like watching a train wreck it was so bad. Anyone seen it?

American Psycho, based on the novel by Bret Easton Ellis.

I've never read it, or anything by Ellis, but supposedly it's much better than the movie.

Random trivia:

The character Elizabeth, who called her dealer from his apartment then ended up making out with the other girl, is actor/director Guinevere Turner, who I first saw on the IFC doc series Indie Sex. Years before I had the slightest idea who she was, I saw her on Taxicab Confessions, very drunk and trying to talk the cab driver up to her place for some "cuddling or whatever."

The point of this is that she's smokin' hot.

Falling Down is a great movie. Last year I was in Lake Havasu, Arizona and all I could do was make Falling Down references. American Psycho is rad too.

Yeah, the book was killer. But yeah, the movie was kind of weak. Like, wtf about the chainsaw down the stairs part. I do not think that the movie could convey what was going on structurally in the book.

Dudes, I recently watched a movie called Frozen and you dudes should as well. Its about 3 people who get stuck on a ski lift but thats all I'm gonna say about it. Its an awesome freakin movie, haven't seen a movie in a while that made me feel shocked by such a simple plot. I promise everyone on here will love it.

I have that in the queue and I've been looking forward to it. All I've heard is good things. Let me go kick some of Chris's ninja movies out of the way...

Bret Easton Ellis is already over the top. I think that what the director was trying to do was just take the story to its illogical extreme. I HATED it the first time I saw it because I was expecting a lower key, darker story like the book. Later viewings were better because of lowered expectations.

But wait! There's more:

American Psycho II: All American Girl starring Milla Kunis and....wait for it...William Shatner. It's been a few years since I ran into it on TV, but I thought it deserved a bit better than it's 3.9 rating on IMDB.

Dude that movie rocks, watch it as soon as you can. I highly recommend it. Real life situations are way scarier than any monster.

Don't do it, Diana. I'm just giving you 90 mins of your life that you'd waste on Frozen. Even if it's by the same guy that brought the world HATCHET and HATCHET 2... Don't do it...

I appreciate it, but I'm not doing much else with my time. Vampire Journals? I rest my case.

Thanks for the reminder on Hatchet 2. I just put that in the enigmatic "Saved" section.

Ha ha... Hey, it's a great concept/idea. But the pacing was actually too fast and the viewer has to "care" about the characters for something like this to work.

I wanted that motherfucker to be eaten alive by wolves and I had to watch the extras to see them drag his guts out in the snow.
