Pretty much the same here. Hate having to stay late at work, especially when I shouldn't have to.Knucklehead wrote:Ah bad news.
You kids have fun tonight. I would have liked to see this show, but work is kicking my ass.
The visa stuff sucks for Belphegor. As anyone who books overseas bands for shows and tours here knows, it has gotten significantly riskier and harder for performers to come over here in the last 2-3 years or so.

psh i couldn't even tell. whoever the lead guitarist on the left was was pretty awesome and i'm assuming he's been in the band a while since his solo style is exactly like the one on the past few releases. i really haven't kept up on deicide history so i could care less who's in it or not, but i can see your pointMatt wrote:cool to know they sounded good. but im not paying 20 bucks to see deicide without the hoffman brothers. thats like going to see pantera without dimebag.

It's Ralph Santolla, he plays for Obituary too, and yea he's been with deicide for the last couple releases. Show was lots of fun. Deicide was awesome, all the other touring acts were fucking terrible. The first band(sadistic ritual I think?) the one with the young kids, they were great. Wish I was that good when I was that age. Bright future for you guys.
See you in Hell!
When Deicide played songs I knew and loved they sounded great, but when they didn't it sounded like a bunch of noise. It was hard to pick out what I was hearing.
It was my first time seeing them without the Hoffman brothers, so I was curious. Not bad at all.
I was VERY surprised they didn't play more from Legion. Three from the first wasn't bad. That's almost half the album so I can't complain.
Neuraxis was great. Haven't seen them since around 2004 either. Pathology were better than they were at the Drunken Unicorn several months ago. Blackguard fucking sucked as usual. Sadistic Ritual were very good.

Can't remember it all, I was pretty ripped, but I definitly remember...Dead by Dawn, Serpents of the Light, Once upon the Cross, Dead but Dreaming, When satn rules his world, death to Jesus, Conviction and a couple other new ones I cant think of the titles, I know theres a bunch I'm missing, but it was a good set.
