Is that show still on? I've heard a lot about Deafheaven. Would be cool to see ken mode too.

Deafheaven's weird to me. It's like what happens when some ex-Joy Division superfan hears his first Mayhem record. Their music is pretty cool but the whole aesthetic is just....weird. Hardcore kids like them more than metal people because of the whole Deathwish thing and they're catering to that crowd completely. But I do want to see them.

ill admit, listened to both of their albums for almost an entire week and haven't really touched them since. but for the most part, i like whats going on there. im no black metal purist but so long as the deafheaven guys are no where near as lame as liturgy acts then im fine with listening to them.

Yeah don't get me wrong, that full length that just came out is pretty good. If you check out the B9 board from time to time it's just odd how everyone is now all "I LIKE TRAPPED UNDER ICE, RIVAL MOB, AND DEAFHEAVEN."
