i think, THINK, it starts at 8, it seems to have started then at most of the other shows.
Sweet. Thank you.

Holy fuckin shit this show was EPIC! More bands should do what Amon Amarth did (well, I suppose if they do, they need to have a new album that doesn't suck so it can be pulled off like tonight lol) Then again Slayer and Megadeth have done something similar, they just didn't do 2 sets and those were old albums they played.

And I went up for Cry of the Blackbirds lol (it's mandatory I do it at least once for a good band if te crowd is big enough!)

I saw a bunch of you dudes and dudettes there, as always it's great to see everyone!

And now, I can't wait till MDF!

Show was fucking insane, so fucking great. The 1st set was Surtur Rising and the 2nd was old faves, they sounded just like the recordings. Paid $25 for a shirt and had a few beers at Jack's with Tommy before hand. I give it a 9 out of 10.

I have a slightly swollen lip, sore neck, hearing loss (even though i had plugs), and my voice is dying. What an awesome night! That was by far one of the best shows i've seen at the masq. Only thing i could have asked for was that the shirts weren't so damn expensive.

Shit, I was expecting at least $30. $25 isn't the greatest but I've seen far worse. The Iron Maiden shirts were all $40! (yeah I did buy one  ) Someone was telling me that when BLS played in the park out back, they were selling plain white pullover hoodies with only BLS written on the front for $70! Now that's insane lol

Anyways, I didn't buy a shirt haha

And I would have went to Jack's afterwards but I had 3 other people riding with me, 2 of them had to work today.

I was busy dancing in the streets around burning pictures of Osama while listening to Lee Greenwood.

Well let's face it Iron Maiden has been around for 30 years or so and achieved a somewhat legendary status. Those shirts are going to be worth something in the future. Shirts cost like 5.50 a piece to make.

Now that being said i would have forked over the extra five bucks but only had a 20 on me and because of the masquerades bullshit "no re-entry" policy i couldn't go back to my car to get more money.

Eh, I don't plan on selling my Iron Maiden shirt. I plan on wearing it till it falls apart! Yeah, if I did have $25 on me, I would've got one last night but I had no cash and didn't feel like paying the $5 fee at the atm.

Did you actually try to go back out to your car? Sometimes, they do let me back out and other times, they don't. I think it depends on the mood of whoever is working that night lol Also, I haven't tried to go back out that often either.

Old?!?! There were plenty of folks older than you there...no excuse!

On my way to work at 5:30 this morning, I was blasting Amon Amarth (and probably pissing off the neighbors as I drove by) lol

no because the same guy who yelled at me before was guarding it. I almost got kicked out of the last DRI show for putting my shirts in the car so i didn't have to wear them. fucking bullshit. fortunately they gave me a "last chance" haha
