Job Leads?

I'm looking for a new job, and it occured to me that many of us might be. Here's a thread for anyone that has or needs a job lead. Personally I am a warehouse forklift driver, but I have a ton of job experience.

Have you checked out any of the job posting sites like Monster, CareerBuilder, etc? My favorite is Indeed.com. It pretty much searches all of them and returns the results on one page.

Yeah man, but honestly, most people gets jobs from friends giving them a heads up.

i justed moved back to GA in March after being in TX for about 8 mths and i'm in the same field. Put my resume on monster/ajcjobs.com, applied to several temp services, and went out searching. I got lucky and got a call from a compnay that saw my resume online and got hired. It's pretty much hit or miss man and totally all in the timing. Definitely hit those avenues man and u should find something soon. Manufacturing is starting to pick back up. Good luck man.

Hit up staffing agencies (Axiom, Randstad, etc.). Especially for warehouse work/production type jobs. They will want you to take a drug test though so be ready yourself or find someone with clean pee!

yeah that's how I got my current job! Shitty pay but it's better than nothing and at the time, I was desperate! (was unemployed for 4.5 months...had to take care of the b/f's broken leg). Only reason why I haven't tried to get a better one is because of school. I've been in for a good while now and may start grad school in August (I'll find out later this month) so I don't want to start something just to quit.

the rapture is this weekend so that should open up lots of jobs , I'm starting a post rapture pet service , where i take care of the animals left behind while the Christians are away , i just ask people to leave their house key and the remaining balance in the checking and savings accounts in an envelope in their mailboxes. Actual judgement day is October, so that only leaves me five months to get ready to open the portal so lawless darkness can consume the returning Jehovah in chaos , so i will prolly need to hire some people to help with the pets

but see i'm not asking for payment now, they just have to leave their money and house key the night before, and to be honest i have no real intention of feeding their pets but plan to sacrifice them to the dragon reinkaos in order to open the portal - kinda like how they ended season 5 of buffy
