Getting closer!

I made a sweet cut n paste flyer with the macho man on it for this and handed out a bunch at DRI before one of the Masq staff came and bitched at me saying "Unless it's for a Masquerade show you can't hand out flyers."

I guess i shouldn't be surprised.

Shit, those people at DRI would most likely be more interested in Miasmal than anything going on at The Masquerade the same night anyways. So it's not like it's lost revenue but whatever!

Any idea when Miasmal might actually hit the stage?

I might be in town and shouldn't go, because I have to sharp on Wednesday morning.

But I just might anyway.

lol masquerade staff is a bunch of queers. some cool ones in there but the rules they have are annoying as shit. i had people continuously sniffing my drinks to make sure i didn't have alcohol. and had some drunk staff guy make it difficult to go out the loading bay to look for my guitar

what the fuck? sniffing your drink?! i'm glad they never pulled that shit when i played there underage because a) i probably would have lost my shit and b) they wouldn't have been happy with what they smelled

some of the dudes are great but the vast majority seem to be totally oblivious to what actually happens/needs to happen at a show and how they can help in that process... or at least stay the fuck out of the way. when those kids got onstage and accidentally unplugged Kurt's mic extension the Masq guy on the side of the stage was totally oblivious to the fact that the vocals had disappeared so i had to go up and plug it back in myself.

the sound guy was great though, despite his hipsterish appearance. i thought you guys and DRI sounded great.

There's only 3 bands so Disfigurement will probably go on between 8 and 9. Show should definitely be over by midnight. Specifically though, I have no idea. I would assume they will be playing last unless Innumerable Forms wants to play last for some reason.
