Which Hell is it? I looked on Metal Archives and saw that there are (or were at one time) no less than
nine bands called Hell.
I found a DL of this and it is fanfuckingtastic in that Satanic classic metal, Mercyful Fate, Ghost, Devil's Blood, Devil kind of way. The only place that I've found to order it from Nuclear Blast and I'd rather drop a kid out and trade it than pay what they are asking.
Any help on a US distro source?

I liked it at first, then was kind of meh, then I had to turn it off because it was too annoying. I'll give it another listen.

Sadistic Ritual - it says "Onslaught Outbreak" on it.
I haven't managed to listen to this yet even though I got it at the DRI show. Good stuff and I'm sorry I missed it live. I'll try real hard to catch the next one.

The vinyl ver is way too expensive and double disc is over priced as well. The single disc version is only $13 at Amazon, but if you buy it used it's only 8 or 9 bucks. Mine is on the way.

Turbonegro - Apocalypse Dudes (let the self-kicking commence for just now getting around to hearing this band)
Lizzy Borden - Visual Lies
Sanctuary - Refuge Denied
Vicious Rumors - s/t, Welcome to the Ball
Savatage - lots
Dandy Warhols - 13 Tales from Urban Bohemia (good mellow druggy stuff)
Obviously I am in some kind of musical rut here, so ... serious question: What's good right now? I checked out that Hell album after hearing the talk of it, and really it didn't do anything for me. I see a lot of grind mentioned on here and for whatever reason it's not clicking with me either. Post-black metal gives me an allergic reaction. I'm through with the widdly widdly tech death stuff. The new thrash just makes me listen to the old thrash. Frankly I don't know what I am after -- perhaps the problem is with me. I suppose what I really want to know is this: what is an album that has come out this year that sounds truly fresh and inspired, and validates why you listen to metal? Feel free to disregard everything I just said about subgenres when making a recommendation. I just want an album that demands to be restarted immediately after finishing. This is sort of alarming, but the last one that really did that for me was Destroyer 666's Phoenix Rising, and that was ... fuck, I don't even know how long ago.
Thank you for your time. Please rescue me from my cd collection.

Just do a lot of searching as this is what I do. There is so much out there it's impossible to listen to it all. I have been in a black / doom kick lately and try and switch up genre's. I try and find stuff that gives that initial wow factor or better yet the chills... that people talk about-I still get it! Sometimes I go back to my roots of what I first liked and expand on that. I visit several music blogs that reviews new music and listen to a lot of samples till something clocks really strong. Doesn't happen real often but when it does, it's a great feeling. Hope this helps...
Turbonegro is killer! I have Party Animals and enjoy it. Ever here of Scum? Punk/metal group with Casey Chaos, Samoth and Happy Tom. Oh and Faust!

Miasmal's s/t, chief. It is straight up, old school death metal and I cannot stop listening to it.
YMMV.

I like most everything that Turbonegro created, save for the goofy Jugen. As a general rule, everything before Scandinavian Leather is considered crucial and SL and later is pretty meh. I think I like the later stuff more than most folks.
Nice one on the Dandys. I LOVE that band. The later stuff gets much trippier. That's good. Have you seen the film Dig! yet? If not, get on that.

That must be terribly annoying. The lyrics actually fit over the original seamlessly.
