8/14 Lich King, Vindicator, Sadistic Ritual, + more locals?

Post by SadisticRitual » Tue June 7th, 2011, 4:22 am

Lich King seems to be hit or miss with most thrash fans but they wanted a show over here so i was going to help them out with one. i just want to see how many people would actually be interested in going. I haven't heard too much from the other band. if enough people go we'll probably play too

I don’t know anything about Lich King, just the name seems kind of annoying and I’m the kind of person who will procrastinate checking out a band if I don’t like the name. Dumb? Probably, but whatever.

Vindicator I’d LOVE to see and would whatever I could to make the show

yeah Lich King is one of those band that i see having potential for a decent live show but i'm really not too sure since they never tour. like i said their music is hit or miss for most thrash fans but there's a lot of people who really love them. they're newest album World Gone Dead is at least worth checking out. i'll have to look more into vindicator myself

I used to talk to the guy from lich king all the time on xbox live and he's just a douche, also causes problems with bands from his area like Razormaze. Lich king is just seriously meh. Who knows though, maybe they are good live. Vindicator is great live though, I saw them play thrasho de mayo in '09.

yeah haha i want to avoid saying too much in public since i'm trying to set this up for them but i have to agree with most of that. i was asking him about artwork once since he draws and asking if he could draw something to our style and he said something about not liking my vocals  no offense to HIS vocals... but dear god he's got no grounds to speak. if he wants something that "sounds like a dying duck" listen to himself. i feel like they'd have potential if they dropped the attitude and antics and just stuck to thrashing. their new albums isn't all bad but it could just be so much better if they quit paying attention to their image. i do like some of their riffage though so that's why i have a little higher hopes for their live show. glad to see people are looking forward to vindicator though. i'm still trying to get this show booked (hopefully for Archive Gallery) but haven't had much response yet.

yeah, I'd go though. It's novelty shit, but i did think the song Attack of the Wrath of the War of the Death of the Strike of the Sword of the Blood of the Beast was pretty funny.

Vindicator is legit. Lich King is not. I'll be at the show the following night so odds are i won't make this one.

I'd go to see yall and vindicator. Also: would yall be interested in doing a show with disfigurement and living decay? I private messaged contact info to you if you're down.
