Kampfar - Kvass

Windir - a few...

Morbid Angel - whatever the new one is called. I've come to the conclusion that I like this album, but not as a Morbid Angel album or even a death metal album. I see it more as if the Springfield Steelworkers had recorded a soundtrack for Stonecutters - and threw in "reinvisioned" cover of a early Body Count demo track recorded specially for a Lollapalooza 3 promotional compact disc.

Don't encourage them.

I don't care what band's name is on that album, it's still an abomination.

Bad taste should not be confused with innovation.

TAG are awesome. They're touring with Weekend Nachos right now (or just were) and I'm sure were blowing them out of the water every night.

Something about that BxC record doesn't sit well with me. Comes off really flat or like over digitized/produced or something. The songs are pretty solid though.

I don't know about blowing them away, because I haven't seen them and Weekend Nachos are pretty solid live, and their new record is killer. I kinda feel the same way about the Brucexcampbell thing. I don't know what it is. It sounds weird, really loud or something, but I can't stop listening to it.

The last couple of days I've been obsessed with the Kvelertak S/T album. I love how they sound like a cross between T(I)NC and Fucked Up, really aggressive, but still with a ton of melody and dash of soul.

So much win right here. Have you heard Uncurbed "Nightmare In Daylight"? Shit is a masterpiece.

Have we met in real life? Seems we would get along famously based on musical taste alone.

Yes I have and It is pretty sweet. No I don't believe we have met. The only folks I know I know from this board are Kay, Tommy, and Amanda?(Metalfreak? I'm lousy with names sometimes.) Maybe if can ever find time to get out to something then can have a chat.
