i just got a new ipod that's 80 gigs my old one was 16, so will now be able to load 14 min epics back onto it with out being worried about them eating up to much space as well as downloading full discographies on it and not have to pick a few songs from each album so on my impending down load list ,
trancelike void, book of knots, forgotten tomb, blood ceremony , helrunar, lost inside, von, rest of negura bunget's discography, sear bliss, and all the moonsorrow songs that were too long for my old ipod

nice. I had a 30 gig until i dropped it in a toilet, was great having my entire collection on there and ready at any given moment. i have an 8 gig now and am constantly having to remove stuff in order to put new shit on. lame.

I bought a 4 gig a few years ago thinking it would have PLENTY of room. That lasted for about 6 months so I got a 30 gig. I figured that would be great but I still had too much music and it broke anyways. Now I got a 120 gig and it's almost full. It's my baby though...if I lost/dropped it, I'd cry.

I wish it was bleaker, but that's just me. It's good driving music. Makes me get leadfoot.

Speaking of bleak:

Same here. It's nice to be able to force myself to listen to old stuff I haven't listened to in a while though.

Battlesoul: Lay Down Thy Burdens - great new thrashy folk band I just found.

On topic - I have a 120GB Zune I got as a gift a couple years ago, about 32GB on it [at 128kbps]. I mostly just use it in the car or when I'm out though, at home I listen to music straight off my laptop.

Very good choice in wierd doomy bands. I got the complication for diSEMBOWELMENT. I wasn't sure how I felt about it until I heard the ambient sounds.
