My originals are beat to hell, so I bought both of these. They are the real deal.badcarburetor wrote:I almost bought this at Record Store Day at Criminal, but realized that it's probably got those ghey re-recorded rhythm tracks that Sharon had done to gyp the original players out of their royalties. I like 180 gram vinyl as much as the next nerd, but I'll stick with my originals in this case.

They are the originals as far as i know and they rule..they are my buddy/roomate Denney's. He's a hardcore vinyl collector. They were great to hear the other day with a great buzz flowin. My ex-wife has my Diary cd so i'm gonna buy the 30th anniversary that comes with the live DVD of the Diary tour set with Randy Rhoads. Dig it!!sleyja wrote:My originals are beat to hell, so I bought both of these. Well, it's a bit of both. Yes, these are the original recordings - if the Anti-Christ can be believed, but, it looks like she's still fucking over the OGs.sleyja wrote:badcarburetor wrote:I know that you know your shit - and I'm not doubting you - but how did you verify that? I hear ya - You can read all about it. It's been verified on hundreds of websites.

I do want to pick these up as mine are pretty beat, too, but only if you guys are all on board that they sound right. I'd prefer to find used versions as I hate to put a single cent into her grubby paws, just like I will avoid ever giving any royalty cash to anyone in Metallica. Fortunately, that's a pretty easy goal to accomplish since they totally suck.

To get the DVD you have to buy the whole goddamned box set. Fuck that. I can wait till it's offered separately or I'll just get a boot from someone.Acidic Consumption wrote:man..i thought that the new 30th anniversary came with a live DVD...it's just a live cd of the Blizzard of Ozz set..still cool but a video would of been cooler..ah well i stand corrected...still gonna get it.

yeah..that's were Denney got it from..he went up there for the Don't Break The Oath vinyl. He wound up getting the 2 Ozzy vinyls as well. He spend some bread that day..He's a collector though..that Don't Break the Oath was $65 compared to the $120 or more that it's usually on ebay for.AmoebicDysentery wrote:I saw the "Diary..." LP at Sweet Melissas records on the Marietta square the other day. Not sure what version it was, but it was used and probably overpriced
