It's a cool program. Honestly, it's the first one to actually make me consider paying for a subscription. Pretty good selection and makes checking out new bands 10x easier. Even has some obscure stuff like Galdr, hehe.

YESSSSSSSS

Criminally underrated band. Vibrations of Doom-Steve turned me onto them a few years ago and I never looked back.

Hobbs is one of my favorite thrash bands for sure.

Immortal-At The Heart of Winter
Bluuurgh...In My Embrace
Burzum-Det Som Engang Var
Cranium-Speed Metal Sentence
Cryptic Slaughter-Money Talks
Hellshock-They Wait For You Still
Judas Priest-Sad Wings of Destiny
Razor-Shotgun Justice
Shitlickers-Cracked Cop Skulls
Shitlickers-Silence
Vader-Revelations
Wolfpack-A New Dawn Fades

Ryan was definitely right about the sound on Speed Metal Sentence, much better! Bluuurgh... was a band I decided to check out because their name was so awesome, and it turned out to actually be fucking good!

Yeah, is that how it works? You have to know someone to get in?

For now, yeah. Going with the whole 'exclusivity creates buzz' thing. Alternatively, you can go here:
http://www.spotify.com/us/coca-cola/

and request an invite. Buddy of mine got one sent to his email a few hours after he put his address there.

Cool, the little skit or whatever where they are sentenced to death/life in prison is incredible haha.

T.S.O.L - everything
This is one of the few bands to have played multiple styles, all in the interest of "making it," and I pretty much dig them all.

A friend was over who doesn't really know jack about punk, metal or anything of the kind and asked, "is that Ian Astbury?" about an early deathrock-ish track. I had never thought about it, but there is a sonic resemblance. Then as it moved into their more cock rockish period, T.S.O.L. started giving off a vibe of biting Electric era Cult. Funny, that.

Amy Winehouse - Back to Black
I am bummed. Chick wrote and sang some really honest shit and she sang it with passion. I was hoping for a comeback album that would really blow everyone away. Maybe there is enough shit in the vaults and maybe Mark Ronson can put it together in a way that is true to Amy. Here's to hoping...

Toxic Holocaust - Conjure and Command
This is a good album, I just wish it was a bit more sonically varied. Every song on the album has the same sound.

Man, I've got some catching up to do. I didn't even know this was out yet.

...and I can't let this one pass without some comment. Pure gold. I nearly wrecked my car when I was listening to Mitch All Together for the first time.

Deathspell Omega - Diabolus Absconditus
Secrets of the Moon - Seven Bells (edit: fuck...bogus disc)
Taake - S/T
Marduk - Iron Dawn

Yes they do and even if he comes across as Uncle Badtouch, band still rips!

But, talk about some awkward promo shots:
