jeez
i paid almost 30 bucks for my Swans ticket, but they are one of my favorite bands i would have dished out as much money as it took, 15 bucks is not much more than a movie these days, i guess if you aren't into the band and just going to go then it might be pricey , but i have no problem paying that kinda money for bands i like , they certainly aren't making money from album sales any more

Re: jeez
I paid 30 bucks for my Swans ticket too...doesn't bother me at all though, in fact I would pay almost anything they charged; Swans are legendary, plus Michael Gira is my favorite songwriter. I'm fuckin obsessed with Swans...you guys dont understand! Anyway, I don't mind paying more for what I know is gonna be a great show. It's got the added bonus of being in an usual and fitting atmosphere too.Odinson666 wrote:i paid almost 30 bucks for my Swans ticket, but they are one of my favorite bands i would have dished out as much money as it took, 15 bucks is not much more than a movie these days, i guess if you aren't into the band and just going to go then it might be pricey , but i have no problem paying that kinda money for bands i like , they certainly aren't making money from album sales any more
