Holy shit this Eastern European(?) speed metal is damned near perfect. I'm not sure when I heard about them, probably BandoftheWeek, but not positive.
I was in Croatia a few weeks ago and everyone seems to know about these guys over there. Pretty sure nothing that cool has come out of Montenegro in a long time...unfortunately, ne govorim crnogorski jezik.
As good as this band is - and they are quite good - I think your just dropping having been in Croatia is far more interesting.

Seriously, I bummed around the northern Balkans a couple of weeks before going to the Metalcamp fest in Slovenia and Kolac, Noctiferia, and KK Streetbangers were some of the names I heard the most when asking folks over there about real local metal. I had never heard of any of those bands, but they rule hard.

To stay on topic...

Sargiest - Let the Devil In
1349 - Demonoir
Weapon - From the Devil's Tomb
Cales - Pass In Time
Earth - Phase 3
Lifelover- Pulver

Is there anyone here more metal than Tommy? Show of hands?

I didn't think so.

You know I want to hear all about this, if I ever get out again.

That's where I heard them, too. Really surprised me and the demo is pretty cool too.

I've also been on a big In Solitude kick ever since I found out they're coming here. Man, that's going to be a good show.
