Does anybody know where this Hospitality/ConSuite is located? I have never ever seen it. And what kind of snacks are we talking about? It sucks when that food court closes and you forgot to eat dinner because you were killing beers.

Second Floor at the Hyatt. Near the door that leads to the stairs. There isnt usually much, bite-sized just sandwiches, hoagies, nachoes, cellaries, and candy with some sodas and water. It isnt much, but it would hold you off for abit.

Though there is a 24hr Diner not too far from the con.

I'm moving back in 2 weeks actually but I won't make it to Dragoncon...I wanna go eventually. I'll still be back all the time though because I have Tues/Thurs classes and my girlfriend still lives in GA.

Sweet man. Like I said I'm pretty new to beer so I'm no expert, but I've tried over 60 different beers in the last 6 months. If you ever need some recs, let me know.

As far as con beverages go for me, it'll most likely be JagerMonsters, but I'll definitely have some kind of IPAs and Stouts handy as well.

I can't recall the name, but there is a Landmark style diner on Piedmont at the North end of GSU on the east side of the street. I think it's in the ground level of some dorm. I'm guessing that's what JagerWolf is referencing as it's pretty close to D*C. Maybe it's called Panther Diner or something like that? I just can't remember. I tried Googling, but came up empty. That's probably the closest one, but there is an actual 24 hour Landmark right by the Central Library at Luckie and Forsyth. Not a bad stumble if you need 4am pancakes.

Isn't there also a 24 hour City Cafe like a block or 2 north and west of the con hotels?

I can't wait for this year's con. my girlfriend bought me a full weekend pass for my birthday. Every year, dragon con is the best time of the year.

You think we should try to get better bands to play at DC next year? They had Gwar and The Misfits before, why not have Living Decay, Spewtilator and other nifty local bands that rule play in the Marriott hall?

Sounds good to me!

Well, hopefully, a certain Swiss band will be touring next year and you will have an excuse to come visit!
