The last (and only) time I saw him was in '86. He was a doddering old man then. And he was younger than I am now![/quote]

Didn't he have a heart attack on stage, or something?

Same here. Ozzy rules, but I've had my fill.

So we were at the same show then when that little band from California opened for Oz.

That little band was the only reason I went, chief. But I wasn't living here, then: I was up in Michigan.

Same here as far as the reason goes. We actually left midway through Oz cause we wanted to get back to my bro's house and rock MoP and get more fucked up.

I think we are talking about a little band who had a sliver of the stage but nearly stole the show. Went on to be quite DIRTy?

That would be negatory.

It was the "DIRTy" part that threw me off. Stew and I were talking about this at Jack's and could make neither heads nor tails.

Did I mention that there were four dollar pitchers?

And who was vomiting? Hmmm? *I* didn't see a thing, though I heard reports from those standing immediately around me.

If memory serves, '86 was the Bark at the Moon tour. Crue opened. Years later they "wrote" the greatest - and most ridiculous - book in the history of the written word, The Dirt.

Or I could be totally wrong as there have been a number of $4 pitchers in my lifetime.
