Where to do a Doom show????

Post by MaleficSounds » Thu September 1st, 2011, 1:15 pm

I'm looking for a good venue to do a good doomish show, my band Sorrowful end and a band from TN name Clorange want to do something. Anyone know of any good venues to do this??? Particularly with an older crowd I guess since the youngens won't be into the slower stuff lol. Any ideas on venues or other bands that would like to do this with us???

Drunken Unicorn always has good sound. It's a bit hard to book though, and they charge for production costs. Also try 529 or Wonderroot

Hell yeah i'd go to this. Sorrowful End is awesome and Clorange whoops a lot of ass. Clorange is doom that doesn't sound like the same doom you've heard 1000 times. Plus their guitar player has the most badass rig ever.

i know alex is in clorange, and i tried to like it, the music is tight, and that chick really has awesome pipes, but i dont think it fits at all with the music.

even though she has serious pipes, i actually think it sounds fucking obnoxious with that style.
