So I just found out today that I got a $70 ticket for running a red light this night on the way to the show. A camera caught me (black car on the left):

The light seriously turned green for 3 seconds at a time so it was almost impossible not to run it if you weren't the 1st or 2nd car in the turn lane. So stupid.

I'm pretty sure you can get away with not paying those. I thought they were taking down all the red light cameras anyway.

thats us in front of you clearly running that light. We haven't gotten a ticket yet.... awwww yeahhhhh!

Oh shit, that is us! I thought they took our picture but nothing in the mail yet. We ran the yellow not the red. Thank you GF.

I read something about that on some sites last night but my parents already paid it. I just found out about it last night but they knew for a week apparently.

I don't know maybe I can do something.

My bet is the intersection of Freedom pkwy and Boulevard.

Good call.

The trick is, if you are ever at an intersection that you know has cameras gun it to cross the line into the intersection before changes from yellow.

it also kind of says that at the lower right corner of the picture, but its all run together like they just didn't have the time to hit the spacebar

Good call. I couldn't really make that out on the monitor I was using. They are busy people there, those automated ticket writing folks.

I just paid for a $140 ticket for rolling through a stop sign 10 yards in front of my house. I guess running a red light is more economical in Atlanta, go figure...

You could just not run red lights.

If you know it will be green/yellow for just the first one or two cars, then just play it safe and don't go if you're not one of those first one or two cars. Reduces the chances of getting the ticket.
