And I dont think good beer is expensive as much as cheap beer is for what you get.At least your getting what you pay for with a quality craft beer and not a bunch of water and cheap adjuncts like corn and rice with a smiggen of hops thrown in.
@ stygian will where did you buy an Abyss from?
List your current favorite beer and review it.

While I was in France I had the opportunity to try a bottle of Rochefort 10.... that stuff made me melt. So delicious.
When I get beer for myself I stick to Hoegaarden or other types of hefeweizen, though I have yet to try Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier. I also try to snag Oberon whenever that's around.
My friend and I once drank a mini keg of Hopslam... that was the longest drunk night I had ever had.

That Left Hand Milk Stout is crazy good on draft, bottled it's not the same to me.
If you dig the LFMS or the Rogue's Chocolate, make sure to check out Young's Double Chocolate. It comes in tallboy cans that are much better than the bottles, IMO. If you find it on draft, like at McCracken's on the Marietta Square, it's ungodly.

Yeah it was pretty good. Alcohol was evident but didn't kill it.egg yolkeo wrote:So did you try that Stone 15th yet?GameFreac wrote:That is the beer that got me into beer.Generubin wrote:I finally tried a Left Hand beer. it was Left Hand Milk Stout. Best beer of my life so far.
I liked the Belgo IPA and Stoudts Hefeweizen...both good beers.
Mixed another six pack a few weeks ago. Got:
Avery IPA (very good)
Avery Ellie's Brown Ale
Sierra Nevada Tumbler
Sierra Nevada Kellerweis
Founders Porter (very good but smoked a cig before...gotta try again cuz I still had that smoky taste in my mouth. I'm stupid)
Franziskener Weissbier (might of spelled that wrong)
Others I haven't tried yet...just got sick yesterday.
And Young's Double Chocolate is still my favorite beer so far. Try it Gene.

I think they sell it at my job. I believe it's a stout, right?

If they have it, PLEASE tell me where you work!

Last night was Viking Blod mead. Quite pleasantly honey flavored, but not overpoweringly sweet. I'm such a loser for drinking it out of a rocks glass.
