I have been in an argument on-line with a vegan about PETA, this is on of my responses to his e-mail. Just seeing what the board thinks.

"It is absolutely ignorant to think animals need rights. With rights come responsibility so, are you going to arrest a lion because it murdered a zebra? Of course not!!! Are you going to put two dogs in jail (or a ZOO) because they were fuckin in the middle of Central Park? No!!!! Why? because it is a natural instinct and our natural instinct is to eat meat. I guarentee if you put a hot dog in front of a kid he's going to fuckin' eat it and LOVE IT. Since the begining of time humans have ate animals and used them for clothing and I think it is such a misguided view to be so involved with animal liberation when we have women KILLING unborn children. What about that? Where are the human rights? PETA will flip out over someone slapping a fuckin' squirrel but I don't hear them bitching about parents drop kicking their kids."

I know they dont like people eating mean but I think their main concern is how they treat the animals before they kill them and how they kill them. I think most people are complete fucking idiots when it comes to this topic because most people dont know what they are talking about. I dont care who you are, you cant say that the way they treat and kill the animals is not beyond cruel.

I dont think there is anything wrong with being vegan, and I think if people want to be they dont need to get shit from people who arent. Most of the fucks who make fun of them are idiots and couldnt be vegan even if they wanted to.

I am personally for Total Tree Liberation.

Trees are living things and we murder them by cutting them down. Then we skin the bark right off their bodies, soak them in chemicals and turn them into paper, furniture and we even make homes out of them. People should be ashamed of themselves for living in home made of tree corpses, it's just fuckin' disgusting.
And Peta wants to talk about slaughter houses being the new hollocaust? What about the people that take pieces of trees and put them in a fire place and burn them just so they can stay warm, how selfish!!! We ALL need to ban together and put a stop to TREE cruelty, it is getting way out of hand.

If people want to be vegan and think they're making a difference then more power to them - its when PETA uses bullshit scare tactics and has also slaughtered thousands of pets themselves (sent to them by pet owners thinking their pet was getting a good home). Some animal abuse is wrong and should be stopped, but if a cow is gonna be my dinner not long after its mistreated then who cares. People Eat Tasty Animals - thats life, deal with it.

peta is some real stupid shit. if you dont want to eat meat or anything with a face or whatever. thats just fine, i have no problem with that. but if you think its right to try to get others to stop doing what ever they feel like. fuck you. alot of people use the enviroment as a crutch about animal rights. they say that all the trees you have to clear for pastures to raise the livestock is hurting the enviroment. what about how much land you would have to clear for farms to grow veggies to feed the country? thats stupid as hell/.

Peta2 is like the not as crazy Peta. Look there if you want a bette representation.

It's not always what Peta says, but how they go about it.
And they always take everything with animals to the extreme.
Otherwise, they do have some good points.
If you care about human beings so much, you wouldn't eat meat because then there'd be more food for the world. Most of the grain is wasted feeding cows just to make a few steaks. I forget the exact ratio but its more efficient to feed the grain directly to people than to the cows.

By the way I do eat meat, just pointing something out.
