I think majesty and decay is great. Especially if you like the new EP its more similar to that... but yeah my favorites are probably dawn of possession and close to a world below

Found an old Stressball CD online that I had years ago. They were a NOLA band, and the singer sounds like Sam Kinnison.

those three albums released from 1975 to 79, sad wings, sin after sin and stained class are 3 masterpieces, i think it was their creative pinnacle before they decided to pay the rent

yeah man, totally. even the rent-paying shit is great. most bands can't manage a classic, and Priest crafted THREE not only classics, but goddamn genre defining records, with CLASS the Heavy Metal mountaintop for all others to attempt scaling. it's mind boggling. riff circus. vocal clinic. even binks shows new angles on HM drumming. it's just stupid when you get down to it.

For me, Screaming for Vengeance defines Heavy Metal. That band put out so many classics, but the pure steel sound of SfV is in a class of it's own.

Then that song Parental Guidance dropped and my soul died.

3 classics?... I'd say more like 5 AT LEAST (including Killing Machine and British Steel) and you could argue for Screaming and Defenders AND Painkiller. Greatest heavy metal band of all time... yep, I said it.
