This is one of my favorite brown ales but it was pretty hoppy and he said he doesn't like really hoppy stuff so I didn't recommend it.
Ellies Brown Ale is another that is similar to Newcastle.

They had it on tap at the Gravity Pub when we played there in Nov.

Super tasty and made for a decent buzz as well. :D

Wow. I never knew the Gravity had that! That's really odd since that place was such a dump.

How did we never hear of this? And now it's retired.

They still have those Black Label cans for $1? Man, that was the shit.

Young's is great too. The chocolate undertones Guinness has brought to the front.

Sweetwater IPA, hell yeah GA brew. My fiends in FL can't seem to find it. Poor bastards. I have only in the last few years started craving mad hops, I used to go more for stouts and porters. Their 420 isn't bad either, but the yellow label IPA has that perfect citrus tongue numbing hops. Unfortunately they get me shitfaced too quick. They go down way too easy are pretty high octane.

Guinness Black Lager is my new weeknight after dinner beer. Almost tastes Guinness-y enough, but feels like Yuengling in the belly.

I think they still make it but that version is retired...you can only get it at the brewery and it's in Texas, unfortunately. Heart it's amazing though.

Got some Sierra Nevada Bigfoot Barleywine and some Dogfish Head Indian Brown...probably gonna get some Dogfish Head 60 Minute or a 12 pack of Sierra Nevada Pale ale with my Target gift card for spring break.

i work at a convience store(gas station if u wanna be a dick about it) and i tried the new bud light platinum. it was ok same thing as the regular bud light but you dont have to drink a shitload of them to get wasted. just a few of the platinums will do the trick.

Last night I tried the Newcastle Founders Ale. It's labeled as a "Pale Ale," but I wasn't feeling that. Just a really like, kinda shitty Ameriacan beer flavor. I liked it well enough, but doubt it'll end up on my croosh list.

Also tried some Sweetwater 15th Anniversary brew. 10% alcohol. Not pleasant. I drank half the bomber and poured the rest out. It was only $6, so no biggie. I just thought they'd put a bit more effort into making their anniversary beer drinkable.

Finally something I can use. I spend all my money on cold cuts and fish sticks and have little left over for suds. This is useful.

I'm not sure if it's really a "light" beer anymore if it's 6% but I guess regular drinkers of Bud Light are happy if they want to get drunk faster.

I worked at a beer distributor in Tampa for a few years. I got so much Bud, Bud Light, Corona, and other nasty half assed yellow beer I don't think I could ever have another. Our jam room had a wall of full cases, but we still bought beer. It was good for when party peoples showed up though. I would get dogged by the guys I worked with when we went out for beers and I ordered anything other than an Anheuser or affiliated beer. Those guys worshiped that shit. And Kenny Chesney for that matter. America... Fuck yeah! Shit, sorry for the cynicism. Kinda cranky at the moment.
