Killfest 2 renamed Electric Age tour - May 10, 2012 @ Masq

US thrash metal veterans Overkill have rebranded their forthcoming US tour The Electric Age Tour, which now will feature God Forbid, Diamond Plate and Suidakra as support acts. It was originally dubbed the Killfest 2 when it was announced last October but the bands started dropping off of the tour. Belphegor, Aborted, Blackguard and System Divide all dropped out for different reasons.

I guess that's good cause there are less bands. Diamond plate is at least entertaining live. Regardless of who's playing if overkill is there so am I.

ive seen aborted a couple times, the last time i saw them with carcass they fucking sucked ass. they were pretty sweet at maryland deathfest 2005 though.

i havent heard a full album since archaic abbatoir or whatever from 2005 (which was pretty mediocre) but what ive heard after that and that carcass show was gay as shit. didnt play anything off engineering the dead or the purity of perversion. and i think maybe only one song from gormegeddon. i used to be a huge fan, but theyve kinda become pretty meh to me over the years.

The new one is pretty good...the stuff after Goremageddon was meh but this newest one I liked.
