I've seen some great shows at Swayze's. And there is a certain charm to chugging a 40 outside between sets.

Of course, none of the shows are anywhere near recent.

Those were the days. I was asked to leave for cracking open a Tecate last time I was there maybe three years ago. Definitely some awesome shows at one time thanks to Deathgasm...Grave, Dismember, Horna, Frostmoon Eclipse, Origin, Benighted In Sodom, Rotten Sound, Evil Incarnate, Vital Remains, etc.

I was there recently and it was awful. prior to that I don't think id been there since like 2006. I only went because my friend Tony's new band played there. no re-entry bs. kids at the door trying to not let me back in or smoke behind the venue. fuck that place.

They're still around. They just closed the walk-in store that was within Swayze's. But still in service at Evan's house. You can buy the music from them either by mail, or just drive over and do some shopping.

Fuck, I got asked about doing a show for them. I would have liked to have gotten the show at the drunken unicorn or wonderroot.

This needs to be ANYWHERE besides swayzes. The parking lot of a Circle K is a better choice than swayzes.

I meant putting on shows. But I guess they still are.

I would go just to play Uno during Rose Funeral's set.
