Oddly enough I remember calling those paper tube things 'dur durs' when I was a little kid. Must be from Barney or some shit.

for those of you who don't have plane tickets yet: you better get on it! Delta is having a nice sale: $136 roundtrip! I don't know when it ends. Also, get a skymiles card. They're pretty awesome. (It is a credit card btw)

Dan just got his tickets. I got my tickets on the way back...I should have waited to buy the tickets there cause I paid double. Dammit! At least I got a good deal coming back haha

Excellent price. Got mine. Friday through Sunday for me this year. Couldn't do the pre-show now unfortunately even if I managed to track down a spare ticket. Really wanted to see Autopsy again.

Diana wrote:Do y'all loser hippies know about this dryer sheet trick? I only learned about it a couple of years ago, of course in a Dragon*Con hotel room. It's genius: You take an empty toilet paper tube, stuff a dryer sheet in it, and exhale into the tube. I swear you can't smell a thing.

HOWEVER DON'T SMOKE IN METALFREAK'S ROOM ANYWAY. But I figured this was a prime opportunity to pass along this gem. Beg pardon if I'm the only loser hippie in the room that didn't already know that trick.
This was on the latest episode of Eastbound and Down tonight. I will soon be showing it to all of my family and friends in Blue Ridge.
Thanks,
SBG

If you still need a Thursday only ticket, we will release the last 30 that can be released tomorrow at 12 pm (EST). It's likely that they'll be available for less than one hour. This is the last of them! After this, there will be no other online sales for Thursday only tickets, and they won't be available at the door!

Electric Wizard, Sargeist, Negura Bunget, Dragged into Sunlight, YOB, Noothgrush, Cough, Rwake, Mortuary Drape, Disma, and Infernal Stronghold were my favorites (in order).

Biggest letdowns for me were Horna (boring), Looking for an Answer (meh), Napalm Death (much past their prime).. and although they weren't bad, Nasum didn't nearly live up to my expectations.

The Devil's Blood I now regret missing, especially since I like them on record. Also they had the coolest white shirt of the fest... wish I bought that.
