Holy. Shit.

Do you mean Refused, the seminal Swedish hardcore band? Because I don't really think I am understanding you.

And, this is the day after Slayer/Motorhead et al.

Really, that's so cool. I was just wondering because sometimes you post presale codes. Apparently the presale tickets are already sold out.

Gotcha. Well, presale's not really important anymore. Normal sale went onsale this morning.

Off was really great. Refused had a good show and lots of energy but it was way more 'showman'-like than I expected. Good setlist but I don't think I'd see them again. They did some weird things to the songs themselves but the vocals were spot on the whole set.

I was underwhelmed by OFF! The sound was awful. All bass and barely any guitar. They were energetic but the music was surprisingly boring. I thought refused was great though. The songs sounded right to me. *shrugs*

I loved both bands. I definitely agree that OFF! was missing the guitar in the mix. Damn pity, too, as dude was playing a Mosrite Ventures model through a HiWatt and I would have loved to have heard that cracked up to brutal levels. I'm sure that it sounded sick as fuck. They crushed it. Best OFF! set that I've seen, not only because they sounded killer and the dudes brought the energy, but because Keith Morris didn't do much talking - for once!

Refused totally brought it. Great sound, amazing energy, the crowd was freaking out the whole time, but went batshit when they played New Noise. I would definitely catch them again. The only downside was the Lollapalooza-like vibe to the crowd. Or what I assume a Lollapalooza-like vibe would be...

I've seen reports that they sounded "nu-metal". Opinions?

I am surprised that Lyxzen could still bring the scream. The guys has moved up in years and his last band was mostly singing.

Did they play "Rather Be Dead"?
