Changing the show price is never a good idea on the same day. i see both sides, and understand first hand about production fees/guarantees but i have to ultimately side with the fact that changing the door price the day of the show is just a sketchy move. furthermore, i think that the explanation given was questionable, and i appreciate the stance of In Ruins on that the local bands shouldn't be paid, and i'm glad that In Ruins made a statement about that on their behalf. i mean, opening for tragedy is a pretty big deal anyways.

its not the fact that its $5 bucks more, or whatever amount it is, its the moral of the fact. guarantees and staffing should of been worked out far in advance and planned for accordingly, especially for a well organized and established place such as 529.

usually i wouldn't think to far into paying an extra $5 but this is really hitting me at a bad time, and i can only imagine the countless kids that hopped off the high line or drove far to go to this show to find out that its $5 more than they budgeted for.

God's Balls was saying that it was changed a while ago and they were trying to get the word out on their FB page for some time. But that doesn't change the fact that 529 didn't make that known at all.. so it might have well just been changed today

Truly one of the best shows of my life. second to Inquisition. If every metal show had that much energy, we'd all be rockstars. Also thanks so much to Brian for the ride home and putting up with my shit.

this show was really fucking good. i just wish my glasses didn't deter me from circle pitting through every set. i tried using a rubber band to keep them pinned to my face, but it doesn't work as well as i'd like it too.

thank you everyone for this show.

this show ruled, every local band played the best set that i had seen them play ever. i don't know how people weren't sent to the hospital because of the mayhem of tragedy's set but that shit was insane.

Man we just went to see Tragedy in Wilmington, NC last night, what a bunch of pussies in that city. Good god. Like 6 people tearing it up. Oh by the way whatever you do dont throw any beer around at a show up there, they'll punch you in the face and then get mad when you beat the living shit out of them for being a bunch of whiny hipster sissies. Pathetic, lame show. Atlanta rules and several faces in NC now look like hamburger meat
