Well... no one will usurp the throne from Judas Priest but I think as far as "popular metal" or "girlfriend metal" go this album will, or at the very least SHOULD, propel them to a place amongst the Baroness' and Mastodon's of this earth... perhaps beyond.

It is incredibly catchy, well written, and has enough "mainstream appeal" to bridge the gap in ways Mastodon and Baroness will never be able to. Mostly RT has Miny and her incredible voice to thank for that but it's rare for an album that claims to be "metal" or at least has a fair amount of noticeable metal influence to work on both sides of the musical spectrum so well.

It turns out that my 9 mile commute to work is long enough for two trips through this demo. I think "Playing with my Vomit" is my fave.

Now I'm gonna check out this new Marduk.
