Personally, Motorhead alone justifies sitting through any amount of bullshit. Other decent bands are just icing on the cake.

yeah, i know you're right. i just keep thinking back to the last time i saw them at lakewood (91?), they played in the middle of the afternoon and didn't seem to have the power they had when i've seen them before or since.

the good thing for me (if i can go) is slipping out early. i don't want to sit through slipkowtow unless forced, at gun point or somethng.

Hanneman's take on it.

Mostly, I wanted to link the page for the picture. Freakin' classic.

"Unbelivably, the doctor was a SLAYER fan," says Hanneman, "First thing he said to me was: 'First I am going to save your life. Then I am going to save your arm. Then I am going to save your career.'"
So...the last step of this was convincing Jeff to do more writing and take the lyrics-pen away from Kerry so Slayer can get back to being awesome!

So who's going to this? It looks like Anthrax, Motorhead and Slayer are scheduled one after another which works out great, but no guarantee of that apparently. But hopefully you can go in, hang out, see bands, get out, and the evening will still be quite young.

Still never seen Motorhead, so I'll definitely be braving the throngs of angry 8th graders.

It's looking like I'm not going to be able to go this after all which is a HUGE bummer, especially since seeing Anthrax, Slayer, and Motorhead all back to back would be incredible. We shall see......

i plan on going, but I just plan on tailgating again until Motorhead is on and then dipping out immediately after. I have seen Anthrax with Gene Hoglan on drums playing almost the entire Fistful of Metal album. I don't want to see them surrounded by douchebags playing the newest album, and Slayer sucked a fat dong last time I saw them.

But in all reality I'll probably just be like "oh fuck, that was today wasn't it" like every other time I've planned on seeing Motorhead

That's my plan. The Highlander is thinking of doing a bus again, but I'm not staying the whole time. So I'll be able to tailgate this time.
