These 3 rock! And That Urkanian band, Nokturnal Mortum, never gets old!
But also check out the new Icarus Witch album, Rise, along with Ishahn's Erimetia.

Thanks to the magic of Last.fm and my pile o' recently spun vinyl, here's the last month-ish:
Rolling Stones - Some Girls (My favorite. Heresy?) - It's Only RnR - Goat's Head Soup - Exile (Really should be my favorite - and it's so close.)
King Tuff - s/t
Dandy Warhols - This Machine
Status Quo - On the Level
Wipers - mix
Wolvhammer - Obsidian Plains
Kreator - Endless Pain, Hordes of Chaos and Phantom Antichrist (Man, I want to love this new one, but it's just not grabbing me. I know it's heresy, but Hordes of Chaos is my favorite Kreator album and I was so stoked for the new one, but it's just not doing it for me. Seriously bumming on that.)
Fang - Landshark
Terror - One with the Underdogs and Keepers of the Faith
In Defence - Party Lines and Politics
P.I.L. - This is P.I.L. - If you dig them at all this new album is definitely worth a spin. The title track is painfully repetitive, but get past that and it's very solid.
Police - everything prior to Synchronicity
Gehenna - Murder
Cro-Mags - Age of Quarrel
Midnight - Satanic Royalty
Of the Wand & the Moon - Lone Descent
Acid Witch - Stoned
The Crown
Young and in the Way - meh
Strike Anywhere
Pennywise - mix - Got curious after seeing that documentary The Other F Word. Some is better than I remembered, other is just as overproduced and dull.
Pointed Sticks - Perfect Youth - and some other various tracks
Coven - Witchcraft Destroys Minds and Reaps Souls
Lucifer's Friend - Banquet
Sons of Tonatiuh - new one on Spotify
Macabre - Sinister Slaughter
Gossip - A Joyful Noise
Total Chaos - various - also inspired by The Other F Word - still sucks every bit as much as it ever did.
Wat Tyler - Tummy and Fat of the Band - Criminally underrated. Brilliant songwriting and total diverse approach.
Violens - True
Calexico - The Guard soundtrack - very good if you like atmospheric soundtrack style stuff like Tangerine Dream, David Holmes...
The Boys - mix - Great catchy Brit punk. What bands like Pennywise wanted to be, but instead mucked it all up.
The Brian Jonestown Massacre - Aufheben - new - solid psych as always.
Discharger - a whole bunch - Don't know how this oi band got by me until now. Very good songwriting, which is so rare in this genre nowadays.
Aura Noir - Out to Die
Crazy Lixx - Riot Avenue - When will there be good new hair metal??
Swans - various - Got my tickets. Really stoked to see them not at Variety. I just do not like that venue.
Judas Priest - a whole buncha'. Still give the nod to Maiden.
Lady GaGa - Born this Way
The Finger - whatever that album is called. Ryan Adams "punk" shit or something...Carnivore -all
Integrity - Seasons in the Size of Days
Betrayed, Champion, Chain of Strength, Better Than a Thousand, No For An Answer...
Madball - some old, some newer
Gotye - Making Mirrors
Shining - black metal band - various
Negative Approach - all - Hate that I had to miss this show!!Hatebreed - nearly all, nearly all the time
Inepsy - all
Children of Technology
George Michael - various, inc. new single White Light
Electric Wizard - whole bunch
Disfear - Live the Storm - baby punching tunes for sure
Inquisition - Ominous Doctrines of the Perpetual Mystical Macrocosm
Cr@ss and Conflict - Whole buncha
Burzum - the last three
Nuclear Assault - all
Proletariat - Voodoo Economics and Other American Tragedies
Lita Ford - Living Like a Runaway - This is surprisingly not terrible. I've actually spun it about a half dozen times and some of it I straight up dig.
Final Exit
Step Forward
Artillery - various
Terrorizer - both
Saga - the old proggy band, not the WP diva
Bathory - various and lots
Wolfbrigade
UFO - tons
John Frusciante - solo stuff - This dude put out a lot of "music." Much of it is just insanity drenched soundscapes. I dig it a lot more than his famous band. If you need to feel better about your life pull up some Youtube videos during his heroin days.
One Model Nation - sucks. all of it.
Articles of Faith - collection
Neneh Cherry - old and new
Against Me!Watain
Cheap Time
Infernal Majesty
Deep Purple - Burn and Come Taste the Band
David Lee Roth - Eat 'Em and Smile and Skyscraper
86 Mentality
Municipal Waste - Fatal Feast and a few earlier ones
Marching Orders - various - Aussie oi is the shit.
Romeo Void - Instincts
Revenge - new one

Well I suppose in 8th grade I thought skid row was bad ass now they are just entertaining ...but for the time they were heavier than other hair bands and aside from la guns and w.a.sp the only thing like that I was into. Unless Kizzy Borden is getting lumped into all thatAlbert Kagan wrote:This is all bad ass.Odinson666 wrote:I hate typing on the iPad screen but here it goes
