sweetwater park...there's some big bass there too...from atl its only 15-20 minutes, just go on 20 west to exit 44 and follow the signs. not very secluded but its ok when you want to fish for a couple hours without traveling far
I fish there constantly, but never been able to scare up any crappie. Been seeing absolutely massive flathead catfish the last few weekends at that first big bend in the creek just downstream from the spillway. We're talking Ahab worthy leviathans: huge for creek fishing. I
gotta bag one before summer's end. I'm strongly considering badcarburetor's method at the moment.

Caught a lot of flats there. chicken livers, gizzards, or pork necks---especially with enough bone for you to glom on a good treble hook. They aint gettin off that.

That's one that always hits the spot.

I always avoided that one because of the name. Does it stand up to the earlier stuff?
Tank - War Nation
I was pretty nervous spinning this because I'm really into their old Motorhead x Cockney Rejects sound. It's a good album, even if some of the songs really could have used some trimming. Doesn't have the gritty rawness of their best stuff, but for a reunion album thirty years on, it's pretty decent. Reminds me of solo Dio. Not totally my thing, but it could be far worse.

1. It rules.
2. I realize afresh that Colin does not speak English. WTF he is saying, I have no idea ever. (Love you, Colin! Call me.)

it's not the clay years, but sounds like GBH, and that's all that's important.

Fair enough. I'll check it out. I'm stoked to hear "new" GBH. I <3 the classics so much that I've always feared sullying my image of them by listening to potentially crappy, uninspired later efforts.

I can understand your hesitation what with Fridge and Church falling in the middle there. But Punk Junkies is good.
And Steamy wins again because I put the Clay Years back on.
