Pretty sure it was, now that I look it seems he's shut the door on Detest Records and is only doing a couple more releases before it's totally done.Knucklehead wrote:And Miasmal! (*grins at Steamy*)Brian wrote:Yep, one of the dudes at Destest is with Century now so both Morbus Chron and Necrowretch are on that label. The Morbus Chron EP rules supreme.
Anyway, I got the impression that Detest was one guy.
SPEWTILATOR - Badass motherfuckin' street cops with nothing to lose who don't play by the rules and are out for blood.

btw your ma-in-law told me she wanted you to make her a metal primer CD. i told her I would do it cuz yours would likely have a buncha unlistenable shit on it.

I've been dragging my feet on that thing for a long time. She basically wants to know what the different genres sounds like. Picking out a two or three representaive songs? That's a tough row, right there. I'm paralyzed with indecision.
You could just burn a buncha Nachtmystium songs to a disc. They've tried everything and still suck.

Wow, I thought you guys were joking. I can site at least two specific ocassions in my life when the very last words that someone ever spoke to me (lady folk I might add) were something like, "Oh, thank you so much for finally making this CD for me. I've been asking you about it for like ever." And you're treading through in-law territory. I'm curious to see your picks if you go through with it, dude.Knucklehead wrote:You're killing me.stewvee wrote:it is funny, isn't it?

Thank you sir, I think it turned out wonderfully.stewvee wrote:SPEWTILATOR 7" is rad BTW. i know i've said this before, but it needs repeating.
Today:
Riot - Thundersteel... THUNDAHSTEEEEEEHeeeeeeeEAAAAL, THUNDAHSTEEL!
aaaand a Shadow Kingdom Records binge...
Pagan Altar - Judgement of the Dead (yessssssssss)
Hellwell - Beyond The Boundaries Of Sin (after more lisens I find myself enjoying the vocals more and more)
Jameson Raid - Just As The Dust Had Settled
Demontage - The Principal Extinction (riffs rule... vocals kill it for me)
Wolfbane - s/t (Woah... this rules! Total Rocka Rolla worship)
Sinister Realm - s/t (This rules but every time dude opens his mouth I wish it was King Diamond instead)
Argus - s/t (Yet another with killer riffs and vocals I hate)
Energy Vampires - s/t (Despite the goofy name this record fucking slays, god damn! Wish Stewart sang on those Demontage and Argus records, they'd be a shit load better if he did.)
SPEWTILATOR - Badass motherfuckin' street cops with nothing to lose who don't play by the rules and are out for blood.

Ha! Anyway, she has to come to my house to see the granchildren.MS_39455 wrote:I can site at least two specific ocassions in my life when the very last words that someone ever spoke to me (lady folk I might add) were something like, "Oh, thank you so much for finally making this CD for me. As for tracklist, I've only been "working" on it for six months. Don't hold your breath, folks.

I really want to see this happen. If you think of the tracks, I'll buy them and burn them to a disk myself.Knucklehead wrote:Ha!
