As far as I know, passes are always available the day of. And in a fun ironic twist, many times the one-day pass purchasers sail past all of us that pre-registered as we wait in a 3-hour-plus long registration line. Which is totally awesome. Last year was way better, and I hope that trend continues. When you get there, look for the Redical "Mr. Beer" Burton backpack and get a free beer!Nyarlathotep wrote:I missed the Saturday pass, and it looks like you can't pre-order any more. You can by a one-day pass the day of, right?
Folks, I have never been as useless at work as I am right at this very moment. HEAD UP MY ASS.
Brother, it has to be seen to be believed.
1. GWAR has been banned for some time now. Most bands are of the gothy/rave variety. Meaning they suck.
2. One year a My Little Pony freak taught me how to use a dremel. I think it was the first time a girl had ever spoken to him.
3. The SkepTrack is good though sometimes a little dry. You know how they get.
4. So many titties, Moloc. So many.
Get the Saturday pass. You won't regret it. Find the Redical backpack and get a free beer!

It's just a lot of fun. A lot of open nerdiness, to be sure, but all of the half-naked cosplay chicks and drunken debauchery balance it out nicely.Diana wrote:Brother, it has to be seen to be believed.

And yeah, Diana, I feel you. Totally checked out. I have one more task I need to complete at work and then I am outta here! See you freaks at the Con!
Let the joyous celebrations of Hell begin!
Same here, scored a room as well with Brian. Got plenty of poisons and is ready to go!
You should be able to get one day passes at the door. Just bring some magazines by waiting in line for 4-6 hours.
Lets see: awesome costumes, funny stuff, booze, chicks, booze, half naked cosplaying chicks, booze, partying everywhere, booze everywhere, something weird about, and booze.

I'm so not into nerdy shit. I don't like fantasy, anime, gaming, sci-fi or any of that shit.
I do like sensory overloads, funny panels and beer.
I have a great time here even though I have to have nearly everything explained to me.
Get the Dragon*Con app and browse through it to get a sense of HOW MUCH is going on at any given moment. I generally stick with the Brit Film track, zombie shit and what they call "dark fantasy," but I think of as gothic. The best parts are the hilarious panels by folks like Ralph Bakshi, Ernest Borgnine (RIP, sniff) and Carrie Fisher. Those folks live(d) some interesting lives and can work a (huge) room.
