Grammy Awards - Hard Rock/Metal nominations 2013
There was a time when I was glad that there were Grammy nominations for metal, but that was a long time ago.
I hope Megadeth wins just so we can hear Mustaine say something inane during his acceptance speech. Maybe he'll thank Jesus or something stupid like that. I would love to hear him ramble on again about Obama's birth certificate.
The awards take place Sunday February 10, 2013.
Here are the nominations:
I'm Alive
Anthrax
[Megaforce]
Love Bites (So Do I)
Halestorm
The Strange Case Of...
[Atlantic]
Blood Brothers
Iron Maiden
En Vivo!
[UMe]
Ghost Walking
Lamb Of God
Resolution
[Epic]
No Reflection
Marilyn Manson
Born Villain
[Cooking Vinyl]
Whose Life (Is It Anyways?)
Megadeth
Th1rt3en
[Roadrunner Records]

Wow. The Golden Gods nominees are, for the most part, completely unrelated to anything I'm interested in.Moloc wrote:Meanwhile, on a related piece of toilet paper:

Why wasn't Horna nominated for Best Live Act? (Obviously, rhetorical -- we all know the answer to that.)
You and I are on the same page with this.Knucklehead wrote:Why wasn't Horna nominated for Best Live Act?
Eff awards shows. My friend is having an Oscar-themed birthday party (we all have to wear foofy dresses - mine is way foofy with a fake fur jacket. It rules) and the hostess sent over ballots so we can play along. I have literally seen only one film on the ballot: the Hobbit. Screw the Oscars.
