There was a time when I was glad that there were Grammy nominations for metal, but that was a long time ago.

I hope Megadeth wins just so we can hear Mustaine say something inane during his acceptance speech. Maybe he'll thank Jesus or something stupid like that. I would love to hear him ramble on again about Obama's birth certificate.

The awards take place Sunday February 10, 2013.

Wow. The Golden Gods nominees are, for the most part, completely unrelated to anything I'm interested in.

Why wasn't Horna nominated for Best Live Act? (Obviously, rhetorical -- we all know the answer to that.)

You and I are on the same page with this.

Eff awards shows. My friend is having an Oscar-themed birthday party (we all have to wear foofy dresses - mine is way foofy with a fake fur jacket. It rules) and the hostess sent over ballots so we can play along. I have literally seen only one film on the ballot: the Hobbit. Screw the Oscars.
