Sounds like it should have been "Lonely is the Night." Don't Say No is one of my all time favorite albums, not that there is anything wrong with Emotions in Motion or anything by Piper. Up the Squier!

Recently, I've been on a big Amon Amarth kick and also the new Forgotten Tomb And Do Not Deliver Us from Evil is pretty epic.

Sadly, I don't think I'm going to make it tomorrow. It's a shame, because I wanted to take some pictures.

But if they happen to have an extra copy of the live tape lying around and you happen to have some extra cash, I wouldn't say no.

Cool man, with any luck there will be 2 and all will be right in the world.

This morning I checked out the new Intoxicator Rock N' Roll Hellpatrol on the way to work. It's cool in the Speedwolf kind of way, but I really wish they sang in a language that I can't understand. It's on the Hells Headbangers bandcamp page.

Moribund is having another 5/$20 sale, so I ordered ten CDs. Of course my Liberian coworker comes in here and demands to know what I've got on the headphones, and I tell him "You don't want none of this devil music." He goes, "Devil music??" and slaps the headphones on. After a few seconds he pulls them off and says "It's just instruments." Thanks for whatever that was, Darkstorm!

Hellgoat/Legions of Astaroth split -- still like 'em.

Darkstorm - Hell Satan Blasphemy -- this rules

Kamara - Tämäkin Vielä -- not one but TWO dudes named Jaakko! For fans of System of a Down.

STAAR - Maybe it's called World War/Resistance? Anyway this was a substitute because they were out of whatever I ordered so I told them to surprise me. It's French, it has no drums (therefore I am sad), and it's kind of boring. I skipped through the last five songs.

Apolion - Death Grows Into Sperm -- Inside photo is a bottle of Advil. Three songs have lyrics. Kind of nice background music but I am old and impatient.

Blackdeath - Vortex -- still like 'em.

ASKE - Saatan Legio/Goatfuck -- this is right up my alley

Paragon Impure - To Gaius! (For the Delivery of Agrippina) -- Dedicated to Caligula. It's alright.

Vuohivasara - The Sigil -- This rules. And in the thank-you notes, another Jaakko! So many Jaakkos! Hooray! Also someone on Encyclopaedia Metallum rated this at 38%. I'm gonna follow that person around and kick him in his ass.

As Night Devours the Sun - USBM comp

Zero Tolerance -- Free comp with Venom's "Punk's Not Dead" on it and then a bunch of metalcore. I think I'll send it to my brother. When he hears the last few songs he might snap it in half. Ha.

So five Yes, a couple Mehs and a few Hell No. Pretty standard for Diana vs the 5/$20 sale. Success!
