its exactly like god of war combat wise but it has a much more in depth system than GoW, and there are only a handful of shadow of the colossus style boss fights. Stick it out to the end and you'll find it evolves and ends up telling a very rich and satisfying story with some amazing boss fights, levels, and set piece moments. I recommend turning on the life-bar and hit point counter for enemies for an oldschool feel

Man, I loved Shadow of the Collosus.

The high point of the show for me was definitely "The Number of the Beast."

I think I somehow missed a lot. For instance, I never saw Eddie. Don't remember "Run to the Hills". (Did they even play that?) Part of it is because I was on the edge of the pit, and I thought apparently thought it was more important to randomly grab Ryan by the lapels of his vest and shake him. The other part is alcohol.

Still on Guild Wars 2, it's nice not having a monthly fee. Which I in turn use to pay for Eve Online! Swap between those mostly. I could go on and on about indie games though, that's my bread and butter, but they don't have the long haul progression that MMOs have that I thrive on.

My lunch break regular is Awesomenauts though. Easy to pick up, easy to put down.

Not sure if this has been posted so sorry if it has. New survival horror game that looks incredibly BADASS. Here is a link to the trailer

Also if your into old school platformers check this out. Its a new platformer paying homage to tons of old school stuff. There are a ton of fan games made around this that are awesome too. Its free to Download. It may seem impossible but it just takes trial and error and some practice, its fun as hell! Here is a short clip of some dude who is way too good at it.

Oh this topic is back on top, eh?

been playing:

Shadows of the Colossus/ICO (Two cool games on the same disc for cheap. Remastered, I think)- beat shadows..., great game. Working on ICO now.

Call of Duty Black Ops 2- I play the campaign off and on

Bioshock Infinite- Stuck on a boss, contemplating lessening the difficulty so I can beat it and trade it in already, feel really stuck because I don't have tons of ammo to spare. Must've missed some looting somewhere along the lines.

The Last of Us- Awesome game, rented from Redbox. Trying to beat it really quick so I don't have to throw down $60 for the rest of the experience.
