Repticon Atlanta

Post by Diana » Sat July 27th, 2013, 7:02 am

Is anyone going to this?

http://www.repticon.com/atlanta.html

It's on Sugarloaf out in Lawrenceville, so it's about 3 miles from where I'm sitting right now and I'm trying real hard to not go spend 6 hours there on the clock. :( So I have to go tomorrow. And if I don't have a wingman, I'm gonna fill the car with so many iguanas I won't be able to see out the rear windshield. Please help me.

I'll talk to my ole lady tonight. We live near there and are crazy about critters.

I'll probably go to the Baltimore one.

PS, this marks one of the only times in history that the AJC has offered me helpful information. I had no idea Repticon existed until this morning. Bravo, AJC!

His name is Beelzebubba. He likes kale.

I am totally the asshole parent now with the photos and the constant bragging. It's pathetic.

Y'all, I made him a little vest.

<img src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5509/9419 ... 642f9a.jpg" width="375" height="500" alt="Untitled">

The Mangled & SadRit patches I have are big enough to make an entire vest out of, but I have a plan. Teeny patches are on the way...

Did you guys make it out to Repticon? Do you have reptiles? I've had snakes and turtles, but this is my first lizard.

No and no. But I eventually want a terrarium of turtles and lizards who can get along and also can survive in the same temperature and humidity. Bastards require too much environmental finesse for survival. We just have the most awesome pup in existence instead.

I have two turtles that live in a koi pond. They require zero maintenance. We do feed them just to watch them do something. During the winter they just go to the bottom and, I guess, hibernate.

Diana, how about painting battle vests on their shells? Ha!

I think we should paint a giant "3" and "5" on their backs and then have Jim go out every morning with a notebook and make random notes. Just to see if your neighbors are paying attention.
