Decibel Magazine

Anyone else read it? I'm a subscriber, so I get the flexi discs, some good stuff on them. The Watain cover of GG Allin's "Fuck Off, We Murder" was pretty killer. There's a killer Carcass article in this months issue, and High On Fire's Surrounded By Thieves was inducted to the hall of fame. Cool article and some old pictures of Pike when he was skinny.

I used to subscribe but I liked Metal Maniacs better so I got that instead until they went under. Terrorizer was the best but super expensive.

I didn't have much in common with the Metal Manics staff musically as I do with Decibel, but it was a good one too. Terrorizer is pretty cool too. The editor and chief for Decibel is a smart dude, he also wrote Choosing Death, a killer book about Napalm Death and some early death metal bands. That mag being based in philly gives them a good insight into the east coast scene, a lot of punk coverage, but they cover a lot of the European stuff too.

Yeah I read it from time to time. I also used to read Metal Maniacs (had subscription for a few years) and still read Terrorizer. Good stuff in all these for sure.
They had you do a drug test and the forgot to test for drugs???
