Inquisition -- Obscure Verses for the Multiverse. I've read some hate for this particular one on some boards. But this shit rocks.

It's good, didn't quite grab me the way Ominous Doctrines did, haven't listened to it in a minute tho. Think I'll change that.

edit* I still think the new Nocturnal Graves is better, not much room to compare the two though.

Giving ... From the Bloodline of Cain a first listen. My initial, 30-second impression is of some strange, Katharsis/Destroyer hybrid.

Sounds like Angelcorpse at times which rules.

I am surprised, but the new Behemoth album is very good.

Domains - Sinister Ceremonies
This has been getting A LOT of praise and it's 100% accurate. Just a phenomenal record. Highest recommendation.

Kaevum - Natur
Recommended to me by a friend who said it sounded like a harsher Bergtatt and felt like Vemod. I don't necessarily agree with those descriptions but it is a great fucking record that's gonna get lots of repeat listens.

Betamaxx - Lost Formats
Been really diving into this futuresynth/retrofuture/outrunwhatever it's called genre lately. Good stuff.

Cosmic Church - Ylistys
My favorite Black Metal record of 2013.

I believe that's Brendan Radigan from Magic Circle/Stone Dagger/Battle Ruins/Rival Mob/etc. So Massachusetts.

I can see why some people don't like it. It's way more produced and fancy sounding then their other recordings but I still think its good. On the other hand I haven't been dying to pick it up and listen to like Into the Infernal Regions of the Ancient Cult, OUGH!
