Ok. Very different tastes here, but...
Gotta call crazy on Maiden. Number of the Beast is THE Maiden album. Everything from that to Seventh Son is pure gold. Di'anno, meh.
Hell Awaits is a death metal album. Show No Mercy...its just not there yet. The vocals and the music don't really gel until Reign in Blood IMO.
And personally, i don't see how you can say Satyricon is great and Dummy Burger isn't. Dummy Burger rocks, I don't care what anyone says. For the record I like the latest Satyricon best of their catalog thus far. Our world, it rumbles.
