and $20 cover ain't helpingMS_39455 wrote:Would still be a big maybe even with Deicide and Hate Eternal. Attendance has been shittier lately than it normally is. Part of that has to do with timing, I think -- the shows were within five days of each other, all just before MDF. If they had been spread out over four or five weeks, I would have hit all of themMS_39455 wrote:Attendance has been shittier lately than it normally is. Fair, but you're forgetting that THIS show is at all small intimate space and not a big sweat festival.MS_39455 wrote:Would still be a big maybe even with Deicide and Hate Eternal. This, especially when you don't live downtown or in most EAV cases where they don't even start until like 5am.Knucklehead wrote:Part of that has to do with timing, I think -- the shows were within five days of each other, all just before MDF. Fair enough. And I guess most of you saw 2 of those 3 that I mentioned in Baltimore in the following days anyway. Was more personally disappointed with lower than the usual low, half-asleep turnout for such rare appearances.Thrashmania wrote:This, especially when you don't live downtown or in most EAV cases where they don't even start until like 5am.Knucklehead wrote:Part of that has to do with timing, I think -- the shows were within five days of each other, all just before MDF. But that's still 60 people for Incantation and like 40 people for Artillery, which were on a Sunday/Monday. People complain about work and time and shit but that's just excuses; people also like to party. It all comes down to the cover in the end.MS_39455 wrote:Fair enough. I still go (went to both Incantation and Artillery), it's just that I have a helluva time anymore being able to do that multiple days in a row. Had I not been seeing the other 2 at MDF, there's a good chance I would have suffered my way out for at least Master. In addition, we are totally spoiled in Atlanta with low covers, and Im extremely thankful. But that same job that I bitch about having to be up early for is also the same job that allows me to not really care about a $20 cover for a good band.

I saw them at The Point in 96 and the Masquerade in 94. So they've played here. It's just been a long, long while.spookyapplesauce wrote:Why do you doubt it? The band's playing a killer set list that should satisfy all of their fans. They're playing a smaller venue as opposed to a huge sweaty festival. I don't think they've played here before. A ton of people are excited about this one.

Seems like an unclear scenario to me. Svart Crown also said they were probably bailing on the tour after the next few dates.justinm4bama wrote:I don't think this show is happening any more. Entombed got kicked off the Metal Alliance Tour.
