Lots of great anecdotes from Karl Ulrich Walterbach and most of the Noise bands. It goes into great detail on the rise and fall of Helloween. Having said that, I never liked anything they did after Walls of Jericho.Brian wrote:HELLOWEEN - Keeper of the Seven Keys Pt 1
In fact, if anyone is interested, I have original vinyl presses of Keeper, Parts 1 and 2, that need to go to a good home.

A month late but yeah, Abdullah's Graveyard Poetry is one of those albums I can't shut up about. I've still never even heard their debut cause I just keep playing this one. That guy's voice is out of this world. Should be bigger.
So I wash away the residue
of another day of self abuse
edit:
WOOOOOOAH YEAH SOMEWHERE DOWN THE ROOOOOAD
edit2: if I remember correctly, and the Cuervo suggests I may not be, I first heard them on a sampler CD from Lollipop magazine, which used to stick an mp3 disc in with every issue with like over a hundred songs on it. Ridiculous. There was metal, punk, pop, electronica, whatever the hell else, and I got into so much off the wall shit through it. I do remember buying Graveyard Poetry at Criminal in their previous location where you had to ask the dude to retrieve shit for you.
edit3: oh right, what else have I been spinning, you did not ask
Cinerary - Rituals of Desecration
Pessimist - Blood for the Gods
A Dead Horse album that came out last year that I didn't even know about till yesterday but which was sort of disappointing
Vorkuta - Into the Chasm of Lunacy
Immortal - Damned in Black (this album gets overlooked too much; "Against the Tide" has so many riffs
Coprobaptized Cunthunter - Perseveration of Delirious Comprehensiveness
Cradle of Filth - Cryptoriana (this band somehow rules now, this and the last album are fucking great)
Onward - Evermoving
Voivod - s/t
CunninLynguists - Strange Journey vol 3

I've always preferred the first Abdullah over Graveyard Poetry, and the split with Dragonauta has some cool songs as well, but they moved away from the doom later in the band's career.
Crowbar - Time Heals Nothing
