Because the guy admitted it was a fake. He played it on an emulator on his computer so he could pause and change the framerate.

He played it at 1/30th speed on an emulator, which means it was frame by frame. Everytime he messed up he went back to right before it. I haven't watched it in awhile, but I remember Mario kind of falling then magically being back up at the right height a few times. The animation isn't fluid because he strung together the frames himself.
Oh and the guy said it took him 2 years. What a lame ass.

I vote for this being real.

Obviously the audio is recorded seperate from the video and that;s why the sync isn't perfect.

His hands were making the same mistakes as I was hearing in the audio and nothing looked forced.

This is like a bad audition tape.

Has anyone seen the guy beat Mario 64 in like 30 minutes or something. That one is insane to watch. I don't remember the exact time but its pretty crazy.
