Interestingly, Warrior had talked to Ain back in April about bringing Reed St. Mark back to the fold, to cure their drumming problems. If St. Mark was unable to, he was going to ask Frost or Nick Barker to sit in on their lives shows until they could get things sorted. Apparently, Ain deferred the decision, which led to the break-up.
Celtic Frost were and are an important part of my appreciation of metal. It still sucks that they split.

I have to say, this is the most eloquently Metal band dissolution statement I've ever heard."CELTIC FROST singer and guitarist Tom Gabriel Fischer has left CELTIC FROST due to the irresolvable, severe erosion of the personal basis so urgently required to collaborate within a band so unique, volatile, and ambitious."
Still sucks, but I'm not nearly as dissapointed by this as I was when I bought Vanity Nemesis.
Let the joyous celebrations of Hell begin!

I recently sent Tom the video I took in '06, and he told me that Martin had appropriated all of their other video from the tours as well as a lot of other stuff - sounds like an ugly divorce to me heh. But then I guess any band breakup is kind of like a divorce, right?
